Get Shattered Hands-On Workshop is a comprehensive 2-day workshop focusing on the start to finish creation of your very own unique shattered glass art piece. All students will be supplied with any and all materials needed, a class notebook with basic instruction, tips, hints, and info on where to buy ArtResin, glass, canvas, and more.
Students will learn the following: * Painting canvas background * Planning and composition of glass * Choosing glass, cutting, scoring and shaping cut glass * Use of tools and other needed supplies * Use of ArtResin * Tinting glass, resin & more
Student will be provided with an 18x24 gallery wrapped canvas, as well as a 32oz ArtResin kit for use in this workshop. You will take home (along with your finished piece) the remaining portion of your resin, a plastic palette knife set, a brush set, a sample pack of alcohol inks and a 5lb variety pack of shattered glass!!! We will also be offering a discount at the end of Day 2 for any glass or products we carry at Art Shattered Studio .
All students should wear proper clothing for painting and using resin (bring an apron if you have one).

Day Two. Demo Day 10pm-3pm (includes lunch) * Demo on tinting resin * Demo on tinting glass * How to repair resin boo-boo’s * Building a hardboard canvas * Using a palette knife * Using Plaster * Q & A
Cost: $449 per person and includes all supplies and materials needed. Registration is limited to 10 students to provide a comfortable and positive experience.
Cancellations prior to 8 days before class will be refunded less $50. No refunds within 7 days of class.
This workshop requires a minimum of 6 students. We reserve the right to cancel this workshop if attendance is lower than 6 students. If Art Shattered cancels this workshop, all students will receive a full refund or offered a spot in the next workshop.
**All students should take some time to research and consider what they would like to create prior to class. If you have glass, shells, an object, or a memento you'd like to incorporate, please bring that with you to class. If you are interested in a specific glass color, please contact me to make sure we have that color available. We try to provide students with a wide variety of colors, but selections are limited to what we can get our hands on. Prior to class, I will be sending e-mails as a reminder.
